The Nordic Somali youth Summit in 2013 was a great success! With over 200 participants at Hilton Slussen Hotel in Stockholm on June 6th, the Summit focused on Somali role models and building skills for the Somali youth participants.

 

The entertianment and the workshop held by Jason Diakte, the Swedish regae funk artist Timubuktu gave the Summit and extra lift as did the wonderful performance by Sherissa, and up and coming Swedish –Somali singer.

 

The Nordic Somali Youth Summit is an annual conference, intitated and implemented by Leadership Foundation in collaboration with many local Somali organizations. The first Summit was held in Oslo in 2012 and after the success in Sweden in 2103 we will make our way to Denmark in 2014.
