After a very successful summit in Oslo in 2012, we kept the momentum and motivation going forward. With a focus on carrying the Chart for Change forward, the summit in 2013 focused on civic engagement and ways to be a proponent of change within one's own community. The 2nd Annual Nordic Somali Youth Summit took place in Stockholm, Sweden on June 7th, 2013 at the Hilton - Slussen.

-The Summit had 140 participants and speakers;

-Youth from Malmö, Gothenburg, the greater Stockholm area, Norway, Finland and Denmark attended;

-Timbuktu, a Swedish rapper and reggae artist, and Sherissa, the Somalian singer residing in Sweden helped put music in focus in this Summit;

In 2014 the Summit will take place in Copenhagen, at Eigtveds Pakhus  located on Asiatisk Plads in central Copenhagen, next to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

This year we have a Pre-summit Cultural Night event with special guests!
